Are these new MIDIs with VIP software worth it?

I'm looking into getting another MIDI keyboard and I've noticed Akai, Alesis, Nektar, and M-Audio all have these new Controllers with this VIP software in it. It sounds very interesting, but I don't know if it's worth investing $400+ into.

Does anyone else have any experience with these keyboards?

From glancing at those it seems like they are midi keyboard with vst support built in which is the first time I saw something like that [interesting]
That seems like what they are
