slicex question

when i have a sample in slicex and i press a key on my midi keyboard, how come i have to hold the key down to hear the whole marker? does anyone know how i make it so that i just press it and it plays the marker either until i play another one or until it is fnishes?

Most daws have adsr settings everywhere. I will assume that you didn't touch the envelopes in slicex, gotta mess with those in any daw.
