If you've tried working with all the different settings in fl, and you've tried using a different sound driver (such as asio4all) and your machine is of decent speed.... then get a new sound card... Even if you do get things to work properly (STILL getta new sound card)

I am having the same problem and I have an M-Audio Delta 1010LT sound. I can record and playback MIDI in SONAR just fine. I’m starting to think it’s that a feature is disabled in FL or worse a bug in the program.
Please share your finding when you get your new soundcard. I’ll let you know if I find anything out.
    Peace.

Yah... But after you downloaded it did you select it as the primary driver within your FL options? This quick fix really seems to help a LOT of people experiencing these types of problems.
