Yo, i wanna get into producing RnB. Everything from slow jams to poppy RnB. I know how to play the keys and i know the basic chords of guitar but i gotta couple of questions.

    1) Which Synth (Hardware or Software) has good RnB sounds?
    2) Can I get a software Guitar program where I can play on my guitar than on the program put down what I played in chords or tab?? If not how do i connect my guitar to the computer?
    3) Where can i get good Rhodes sounds?
    4) Where can I get RnB drums?
    5) Which Workstation has the best RNB sounds: Korg Triton LE or Yamaha ES series??

Would appriciate any help on these questions!

1.)Albino has good rnb leads (depending on types of rnb), not sure about hardware.
2.)You can input your guitar into your computer, you need either a mixer or an audio input, for instance, check out a PreSonus FireBox to see what you need. You'll also need sequencer software like cubase.
3.) Good rhodes sounds are either on Edirol Superquartet, or Loungelizard, both are vst's and great investments. Really professional sounds.
4.) RnB drums vary a lot, just spend time getting a large and comprehensive. Battery 3 is a good vst to help "fatten" your drums, and it works on existing drums you have, so check it out.
5.) Can't help you here sorry, don't work with many keyboards.

As far as i know RandB is difficult to mix, make sound than pop.
You need many tracks of chorus too.
Search for Wave mixing tutorial ( company that make wave fx )
they teach how to mix rock, dance,R&B deeply, very good.
