How long would you say a producer takes to find his/her groove with production programs? WOuld 2 years be a safe bet if at least 10 hours is devoted weekly as a main hobby? Interested in hip-hop beats not sure if that matters much. Thank you

You can't say how much time you need to understand a production program. It depends on the person and everyone is always learning.
