    Hi,
i just have a quick question. I've been "producin" for around 5 months or so...not very long. I make hip hop/ r&b songs and i only use cubase, FL and a midi controller. I would like start on sampling from vinyls. What kind of turntables should i buy? can i anyone recommend anything good but still be inexpensive. And also, should i buy an MPC to control the samples? what should i buy? im very new to this whole samplin thing. Please help...im in need of assistance :-D

    thanks much,

    -proda

A basic staton str8 would do then you need some kind of mixer. You could record it in cubase but you need some other programs to work it good(soundforge and recycle) or get an mpc and record it straight in there your choice

Is the mpc the only hardware that can control samples...like choppin, loopin. If it is which MPC should i get, the 2000 or the 2000xl (is there a big difference?). im kind of in a low budget right now. So anything affordable would be good hehehe.
