    Which quantize type is similar to 1/16 of Cubase and the MPC?

    The options of FL are here:

    I experimented a lot with them, but can't figure out which is like the quantization of the MPC or Cubase.

    beat = 1/4 bar (4 beats in a bar)
    so since 1/4 *1/4 = 1/16
    we know that 1/4 beat = 1/16 bar

    I'd use one of the MPC groove templates...to get to them go to the piano roll on whatever you want to quantize, click tools - quantize and then click the folder where it says groove template.

    Its probably best to play (or draw) the drums in yourself to get a tighter swing but if you dont trust your own sense of rhythm then stick to the templates. They can be adjusted so there is some flexibility...just keep playing around until you like what you hear.
