Noise in between samples?

I'm using a bassline from a sample pack and it's 16 bars long. I have copied and pasted the sample throughout my project but every time it comes to the point where the sample joins the next sample you can hear a split second of silence in between the samples.

How do I get around this? It's like a click noise. I have merged the samples and you can still hear the click noise.

^that and/or editing your sample starts/ends to be precisely at the zero crossing.

the zero crossing is the source of your clicking problem - it is where the last sample ends above or below 0 amplitude and the next sample starts below or above 0 amplitude
