No Sound in FL Studio

I was working on one of my beats and suddenly I've got no sound...even when I try and start a new project.

When I press play the monitor at the top, the mixer, the equalizer etc are all showing that sound should be coming out.

Anyone ever had this problem? How do I fix it?

Go into audio options make sure the right device/drivers is active.

If that don't work try restarting.

yeah I just checked, the right driver is still selected.

just restarted my computer...no luck

You didn't hit a mute button on your keyboard (typing) or something? I've done it before..

You tried another daw? do you get sound from media apps?

i get sound from youtube and itunes...I don't have another DAW.

I might just uninstall and reinstall it...if I do that I can load my projects from before the uninstalling right?

Yeah it won't do anything to the project.

If you get sound from apps its a software problem so yeah reinstall the drivers.

also, just in case..make sure iTunes or Windows Media isn't open while you have FL open...that is, if you are using the ASIO driver

I seem to have this problem alot and its really starting to get to me!!:banghead:

yeah I tend to forget and have to close everything and reopen FL...or if I'm lazy I just use another driver

Same here Ill pop open FL again! Let me add your lucky I only have one driver(Just lost my job and have one hell of a crappy computer)

It happened to me a long time ago. Had to reset FL settings (Start->Programs->Image Line->Fl Studio->Advanced->Reset settings)
