I’m a 21 year rapper from Sydney Australia, I was recommend here by OGBama in private messaged me when I made a post about how to rap without getting a sore voice on “GearSlutz”
I have been rapping for 6 years, I’m still in the process of sharping my skills & getting better I have released 1 Ep & I’m in the process of making 2nd Ep as well as working on a collaborative project.
But that said, I don’t think any of these things will happen if my voice keeps getting sore when I rap.
I’m am just coming over a case of laryngitis which I originally got by reading out loud, I got over it guessing not 100% because I rapped a little & it came back, i rapped a little 4 days ago & my voice started to hurt I’m guessing my vocal chords haven’t fully healed, I personally think I wasn’t rapping to aggressively either.
If someone has any advice/tips/techniques that will help that will be greatly appreciated.
Also I would like to add cause someone is gonna ask. I don’t do drugs & I have drank any alcohol in quite awhile
