Hey, y'all! I just started making music a few months ago and have been pretty comfortable with most of the beats I've made. For now, I wanna experiment with remaking/remixing beats from my favorite artists and I could use a few tips.

Currently, I'm trying to remake the beat for Tech N9ne's "Klusterf*k". If you listen to it, it's mostly live instruments. I figured I'd make some use of the small amount of guitars in Garageband '11 to try and imitate the sound.

The main issue I'm struggling with is playing the correct notes of the guitar (starting at 1:00). I'm not yet used to picking up what notes or chords are being played from certain instruments.

I guess my first question (of many) is which notes are being played at that point in the song and which octave?
