are my chops choppy or am I just overthinking it?

just like the title says, sometimes I feel that my chops are choppy and sometimes not. Maybe you guys put some effects to smooth the chops?
I'm using FL studio, any insight would be much appreciated.

They're not great beats, I'm mainly thinking about chopping and how to make things sound smooth.

Sample based production takes a lot of skill since it is time consuming as well.
It is indeed simpler for me to make a regular track with midi instead of flipping as an example.

Techniques in that though are interpolation and using the sample in different ways [sound designing or mangling them]
