Heeey!:
I'm planning on studying music production, but I would like to know what is the difference between Music Production and Audio Technology or Audio Engineering. It is quite difficult to find universities with music production, they mainly offer audio engineering or so, that's why the question. Does anybody knows universities for music production???
Thanks a lot!

audio engineering is the person who records, sets up the mics...runs the mixer board....talk back mic.....setting up headphones amps....

A music producer makes instrumentals and director the audio engineer on what to do....and how he want things to be done...like make sure that snare track is loud for my artist.....
now if you are a music producer it's a great idea to learn audio engineering ....and it's important to know audio engineering if you running your own studio production and/or recording work.....
here's a site I went to and learned and got a certifitied as a audio engineer ... and you don't really need equipment but I did have equipment....you learn the ranges of the sound....hrz...miio-hrz....
waht ever how to mic saxophone...guitars....mic drumsetup...hardware and software.....full range of studio equipment....
