Which MPD should i get

Which mpd do i get/need. there's like 5 different versions and i honestly don't know which one to get

First of all, why do you need a mpd? just because you want or because it has what you need to your "work"? You are the only one that knows better which one should you get. Read the manuals of each one carefully to understand the main differences between each one. After that, will be able to understand which one fits you the best or if a mpd meets your requirements.

that doesn't help at all because its not telling us what you are doing. Honestly if you do not know what one to buy you probably do not need one. MPDs are great if you need them I have owned the 16, 24 and 18 but they don't do anything you cannot do with a midi keyboard or even a qwerty keyboard these days. What are you trying to achieve with the MPD? You can probably get by with the 18 in a lot of cases.

I own a MPD16 and love it because it's fun...but yeah a MIDI is just fine if you don't have a MIDI keyboard get that first
