Recently, it has been hard for me to make beats. I have only been putting out 3 or 4 a week (which is bad for me). While these beats are good beats for me, I know that I can be doing better and making more. But I just feel distracted and not able to focus on music.
If anyone has any tips they would be willing to share, I would be very grateful
Thanks and happy holidays

We all go through slumps, it is normal! Try taking some time off. Not the most exciting advice, but you this always helps as you will come back to production feeling fresh! If you don't want to take a break then try making your own hand picked sample folders with all your favorite samples. That way you will have all these great sounds in one folder to start on a track right away! Also, you can check out our latest article, "10 Creative Music Production Techniques" https://goo.gl/DZvD1v and check out our large library of free samples! http://www.soundshockaudio.com/freedownloadssubscribe

How many beats are you making at a time when you feel like you are "on"? While I wont deter your work ethic, such a high output can be hard to maintain over time. If your beats are still turning out good, why not take advantage of the lack of beat output to work on something else? something unrelated maybe, or even something that may help you sell your beats.

Maybe you need to handle other things not pertaining to music period, so that the music can end up flowing through you again.

just my thoughts, either lock in onto the music or focus on whatever else your attention is floating to. nonetheless, youll be back to your best form in no time
best of luck :victory:
