Moderators: Why you block us?

Sup guys. So this site is all about helping us grow as producers. So, why block the possible growth of our business, and place nofollow links on all of our hyperlinks so we cannot create backlinks? This is the sole reason i signed up for this site, and my only motivation to help out other producers get their foot in the door. Please advise.

I'm not entirely sure what "place nofollow links" means, but if you're referring to removing links from your first five posts, then that's there solely for the reason that people wouldn't come here just to post links to their stuff and take off (and well, also for spam prevention purposes). This is supposed to be a discussion forum, not a self-promotion platform.

We block because FP is a forum to facilitate discussion of music and/or techniques so if spamming and/or incessant hyper promo is your MO take it to social media.
