Whassup ya'll. I just got my 12 channel mixer in the other day and I also got the books that where advertised on the beginning of the newbie section. I just about finished reading the book on mixing. It seems a bit complicated ya know. Like how good does it have to be before it gets to the mastering house? How many of you master your own joints? I don't have many resources the enable me to learn and get some real hands on training of the mixing and mastering process. Can any one of you break down your experiences of learning real good mixing and mastering? Maybe some times frames as well.
