I am a newbie here and have one question. I would like openMIDI file from YAMAHA CVP-509, make small editing (change, delete or add note),export as MIDI,open in YAMAHA CVP-509and save as WAV in it. I have tried to do this in FL-Studio, but MIDI filesounding in YAMAHA CVP-509 after export from FL-Studio was too much differentfrom original MIDI.
Its it possible to use FL-Studio for my task? Thanks inadvance.

How is the exported file different from the original? Have you verified that simply exporting from the CVP-509 and importing it back again (without opening it in FL) sounds the same?

Yes, MIDI file recorded and saved in CVP-509 sounds the same in CVP-509 as during recording.

But how is it different when you export it from FL?

There is another sound after export file from FL. I will check later with several different piano samples in CVP-509, import to FL, export and check on CVP-509. But tomorrow.

I've found free program "MidiEditor (3.0.0)". It works fine for me.
