Logic Pro X Project Size is HUGE

Hi Guys,

I created a song structure of a song that I liked using Logic Pro X.

Basically, creating the markers (Intro, Build, Drop, etc).

Then I deleted the audio file from the channel which was at 7.9 MB anyways (Size of the song).

So now when I tried to save the file as a project, the size was up to like 46mb!!!

How the heck can the size be so big if there is not a single audio or wav file in the project?

Basically nothing is in it except the markers.

Can someone help me out?

Have you tried the File > Project Management > Clean Up option? There's a lot of talk on different forum about escalating LPX project sizes though and no single clear-cut answer...
 
That could be a cache thing since some daws actually save the file regardless of if ya took it off the sequencer.
You'd have to manually remove it.
