yall keep sayin all of zay and lex stuff sound the same well yea it does you know why? Because this is what the artist wants.. they want that sound... for example look at us... if an artist come to us and say they want a zay or lex kind of beat what are you going to do miss out on the sale and say i dont have that but i have something like it or you going to give them what they want?

its called 808s, layering drums, using fx. learn it. seriously. quit downloading little producer kits and loading them into your program. you might find a couple sounds that are useful but there all garbage. buy quality drum samples to work with

    Hi,

I've been trying to make lex luger bass, I'm new to fl studio, for AAAAGES now. I came across your post on this thread, how do i tweak the 808 kicks in fruity loops to make them sound like the ones in 'juice' by soulja boy????

I tried some fake drum kits and as you said in u'r post they don't fit, and do indeed sound NOOBISH!!!!

    I really need some help!!!

    thank you

OK OK, everyone keeps saying. I get it, producer kits are garbage?? So how do i turn a crisp 808 sample into a lex luger bass kick? i.e 'soulja boy - Juice" song.

i found this luger drum kit online:

htt p:// producertoolz .c om/ lex-luger-sound-kit-free-lex-luger-producer-kit-drum-kit/ (remove spaces...site wont let me post links yet)

im usually weary of so-and-so-producer drumkits but this one seems to have some pretty HQ 808 sounds plus some nice chants and sound fx

    WELL....
Its every producers goal to become a 'genius' at their craft and learn their software inside out.

This is a producers forum for producers to help each other get there, I asked how to make a lex luger style bass. Your reply was just idiotic and useless!
