Introduction, Networking & The right connections

I Thought i'd take the time out to introduce myself to everybody, I'm a fairly new 18 year old producer from London with a lot of questions i am also keen on getting involved with discussions & helping other members.
I Got into producing because most of my friends have made a name for them self rapping in London & i thought it would be a good opportunity to get my name out there
as my friends would definitely use my beats once I've perfected the craft.
I also wanted to ask members here if i would be a bonus to them because of my location, In my first hour hear it seems this is a U.S based forum so maybe if i connected with the right people you could promote my music in the States whilst i promote yours from London ?
