First off you need to get a DAW(something to make beats with)....Fl studio, Cubase, Reason...etc

Make up alot of beats and just perfect your craft before you think about selling!!...All i can say is sit down everyday and just work at what you love until you get it down pack.... and have your own style cause you don't want to be anyone else but you....You should make your own style.

If you want to Sell your beats just start handing out/making business cards and give em out at clubs or just start networking..

P.S. I know that wasnt detailed but All i can say is take sum time and perfect your beats!

Everything he said But I would like to add three more things

    1. trust your gut. don't make music people want to hear. make the music you love.
    2. don't over do it on beat making tutorials. its can be counter productive
    3. Think good thoughts

Yea I know how you feel, I just started making beats last year and the initial phase was kinda confusing.
It's great that you have FL already.
My advice is just to play around with it. Get comfortable with your equipment (in this case, FL)
If you can't get your hands on books to read about music, YouTube is a perfect place to gather knowledge. Watch interviews from producers that inspire you. Listen to their early work. Find out what inspired them and then study those people or things.
    Music is a 24/7 365 task.
And don't get down on yourself if you're not making music everyday, let it come to you.
Put your work in study wise, then let the beats create themselves in you. It sound weird and cliche, but music is magical in that way.
Put the time in and I promise it'll pay off.

    Bless
