OK at 2:40 where the vocal sample slows down, how exactly would I go about doing that?

Also if it's not too much trouble, the little bass drop that occurs every so often for instance at :38...Is that just an 808 with a really slow pitch bend?

The part at 2:40 is what I think just lowering the pitch of the vocal. In FL it also slows down the samples when you lower the pitch. The way I do it is just by cutting the part you want to put the effect on and record it on the standard pitch (mostly C) but use knobs on your keyboard (or pitch bend wheel) to lower it.
The bass drop around 0:38 can be achieved in some ways I guess. You could use a tom or a bass. Just use a low sound and slowly bend the pitch like you said.

Yeah that's kind of what I was thinking with the sample.

So are you saying I would have to cut the sample by each word, and then just tweak the pitch individually?

OK bro I think I may have figured it out.

IDK if this is what you were saying but, I think it's just a pitch bend on the sample.

    Thanks man.

in the piano roll stick a slide event note under the vocal note and put it down about an octave, then make the length of it from where you want the bend to start and finish. it should bend it down similar to how a turntable works
