Just registered, I was directed here via a reddit post and thought I'd stop by.

I've been working with recording music for years now, but there's always more to learn and discuss, so I wanted to join you all here.

I've just signed up here today - been doing plenty of reading and learning this morning.

Long and short of my story:

I've been producing music at home, mainly techno and psytrance since 2006 as a hobby. Done some promoting nights and DJ sets, along with live sets up until quite recently. These last few months I've turned my focus towards producing hip-hop. The long term goal is to make a living out of music.

I'm starting by selling some beats and building up a reputation, building a collective of artists, and hopefully turn this into a label and live music event.

It seems like a good place to be, on these forums. And I look forward to learning more, and meeting some like minded people.

I'll upload my avatar and some soundcloud stuff later on tonight when I get home.

Listening to your track now, I love the spacey synths that come in around 1.30. Beautiful work.
