This is kinda driving me crazy..theres one kind of bass that i'm feeling a lot! but i don't know how to create it..
I've got two bass VST's that a use to create my bass lines, but i've tried a lot of different tweaks to find that bass that i'm talking about.

Here are some examples of that bass.

    Add-2 - The reunion
    Add-2 - "The Reunion" (prod. Slot-A) - YouTube

    Common - Nag champa

    Slum village - Special

Hmmm listening on laptop speakers it just kind of sounds like a Sine Bass with the attack coming in a little late, almost layered with a square sound at parts. Nothing too complicated really.

He is known to have used a minimoog synth - so that is where the bass tones could have come from.

    Hard to say for sure.

    Do you mean Dilla?

Is it possible that its all about the EQ? Because I have tried that, but i know there is more powerfull EQ VST's out there...so maybe I don't I should try that?
