Hello everyone,

I'm new to this forum and pretty much new to making music.

I'm interested ir rap music, mostly on vocals. Been rapping for a long time, but not so long ago I got a home studio set up and I was ashamed of my self how crappy I did sound after all those years of practising.

But as I practice on a mic, my recorded vocals became a little bit better.

So I'm mostly interested on how proparly record vocals, recording, mixing techniques, how to improve vocals and how to get that professional sound if you know what I mean.

I'm working in FL-Studio.

Any tips?

Welcome and only do what you interests you the most and leave what you doesn't to someone with the skill(s) you don't already possess, e.g. mixing. Don't get caught up in thinking you must do everything literally yourself as D.I.Y. is a misnomer. The greatest and best rappers left the technical magic to the mixing and/or mastering engineers.
