How goes it? I have been into music production and have been dabbling in other things as well for years and just now decided to join a forum for extra support! When i was much younger my brother introduced me to FL studio. I had no idea what the hell it was used for or what i was doing but i stuck with it because it was addicting and shortly after found ableton (which im absolutely in love with). As of now im really getting into recording and editing as well as teaching myself some good ol' analog instruments. I would like to use my experience to one day create a combination of electronic rock with noise/trance using ableton as its catalyst.
My current hardware is as follows:
Akai MPC500
Casiotone 405 (i know, its old as dirt)
and a scarlett focusrite to bring the two together.
Currently the only controller i use is a Akai APC40. It kinda acts as an effects pedal for the casio minus the pedal. (also great for editing)
Also looking forward to recording guitar and other live instruments.
As i said above, the main piece of software i use is Ableton live. I kinda grew out of FL studio but still use it as a slave for ableton from time to time.
