Got $50... What to get. ( Help appreciated )

Well ive finally got $50, to spend on some kind of tutorials for myself.
Here I will tell you what I got...
    I am a newbie producer with FL6, & Adobe Audition 1.5
Now I have had no instruction in any of thease areas...
Hardware, software, sampling, beat making, arranging,Mastering,Mixing,Fl studio tutorials, how to make certain kinds of beats ETC.
I was thinking of getting The Mixing Engineer's Handbook (Mix Pro Audio Series)
for about $25, cause I know nothing about mixng, and I suck at it for now, but I would also like to get some other stuff too, to learn about FL Studio, and at some point Mastering.
I really would like to not get a internet E-Book, I want a real book, cause I have Core Academy clases at school which means the last hour of my day I could spend reading this...
I was thinking maybe I should just get this book, or maybe some other book, or video, that you think would help me out more, and just studying, and crafting my skills in that one area, and concentrating, and excelling at what this book has to offer before getting another one.

    Also on that front...
What are some good sample CD's you know out there, that have gritty vynl type Premo Underground NY Style drums, & or Ht-Hats, Crashes ETC. that I can use for FL Studio, so I could potentially spend the rest of my money, if I have some left over, after getting this book, or another one. ETC.
Or do you think I should just get a Alchemist, or Pete Rock Instrumental CD, and do some of my own chopping & Sampling in Audition, to get some good sounds.
    Thanks

the mixing engineers handbooks offers tips on mixing more then anything so your gonna really have to have an idea on what each piece of equipment does and how outboard gear and plugins work (ex.compressor's,equalizer's,gates.etc) the book will give you information on how to apply with in at most and it might be to overwhelming for your knowledge right now if you wanna apply some of the tips suggested in the book what kind of studio monitors are you mixing with?if you are still using computer speakers dont even consider the book until you can actually get a stable setup for now you should just focus on learning your craft learning how to sequence music and learning music theory.

    go to

www.tweakheadz.com take the newbie course and get a idea of how things work in a setup.

and maybe check out www.warbeats.com and watch some tutorials other then that.

Well your right, I dont have computer moniters, I just have regualr 'ol speakers, that my bro bought me. They are ok, but no moniters...
But do you know of anything I buy to help me out in the areas you suggested, or just those sites you mentioned.

what field do you have trouble in the most?when i first started it took me about 2 years to learn the basics in and out you might be trying to take the world on at a fast pace lol maybe start off learning..

    how a sequencer works
    how to sequence music
how to write music ,maybe music theory book that will explain scales, time values, time signatures, measures, notes ,keys, progressions etc. because music theory is the key to a great composer.
how the sequencer works with efx's and plug-ins.
    what efx are.
how do they work and how do you apply them.

then when you have a really good idea of that field (atleast 5-6 months of expirementing)

you slowly build your studio up add on maybe a soundcard and some monitors or some sound modules etc..then learn how to bring your music to life there you would consider mixing books and things of a advanced nature

take one step at a time.

So getting a book on music theory is something you would suggest?
Do you know of any good books for this?

When I went to the thing to say I wanted to join, it had V.I.P membership, and it said it was $29.99 It didnt say if it was this amount per month, or one time pay.
I checked out some of the free tutorials, and I must say it looks like a worthy investment to me.
