Getting started as a youtube beatmaker

Hey guys

Anyone have any tips on growing a youtube channel ?
I've been uploading once a week for about 5 months now and i have 41 subs and only one beat that has +600 plays.
My beats are pretty nice usually imo so i guess i'm doing something wrong.

hope somebody can give me some tips!

What is your Youtube channel? let me see if i can give you some feedback.
 
Tags man, get those tags on the video, ...dunno how well it works for beats on youtube, but it really works for teaching and stuff. nice to meet you
 
Youtube is good as bein extra but shouldnt be your main music page its not designed for that at all i my opinion
 
Tags, sadly lots of people are doing xxx producer 'style' beats. Piggybacking off of producers styles I guess.
