Focusrite 2i2 keeps disconnecting.

The default audio driver in windows works fine with no disconnects of usb at all but the focusrite always has issues no matter what setting it's on. I've also noticed that the backside's usb connection point is wobbly and unsecure 24/7 since I got it.

Better yet, what audio interface is in the ballpark of 50-200$ with none of the issues the focusrite 2i2 has?
A secure usb port that never wobbles, never disconnects randomly etc.

Sounds like you got the Monday sample of it. I have the 2i4 and I don't have that problem (hardly think there's any real difference to the build of the 2).

What does costumer support have to say about it?

Figured out the issue, windows samplerate has to equal focusrite's samplerate or it act up a lot more.
Asio4all seems to go a little lower, quite odd but hey it's workin so no harm.
