Fitting acapella to new tempo

Hi,
I am wondering if it is possible to fit a 79 BPM acapella to a 128 BPM song without it being squeaky and being on beat, or is that impossible?

79 to 128 is a huge jump though - you can try the above method, but wouldn't be surprised if it sounds like ass. I'd personally look into cutting it up manually into natural sounding sections/phrases & then stretching those to fit if needed.
