well ive been toying around with production (mainly mid-tempo experimental hip-hop) for a while now. my tools are a turntable, a mixer and an alesis micron. i record everything straight to tape and just over dub.

anyway ive been wanting to expand my gear list for a while now and have been doing some research.
im more interested in hardware, nothing against software but from my experience with it i just prefer the work flow of hardware.

i want to add a korg microkorg, an MPC and an external recording device (like a 4 track recorder) to my set up.

I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT MIDI.

ive been looking at the MPC 500 and it looks nice except will i be able to synch the thing with both my micron and the korg (if i do get one).
also i want to be able to sample into the MPC from my turntables but i also want to connect the MPC to the line in of the table.

i'll explain;
i have a vestax 05 and i want to have one of the audio outs going into the MPC and then i want the audio outs of the MPC to go into the "line in" of the mixer.
will this cause any feedback issues??

anyway. i guess i just wanted to introduce myself.
if anybody has any opinions on the gear i am interested in or have any advice on alternate gear then please let me know.

peace
