Do you have a YouTube channel? What do you put on it?

I'm reading that YouTube is the greatest music discovery platform in the world. And that stuff with video content is significantly more likely to gather fans than something with a still shot or no picture.

How many of you have YouTube accounts that you post to with some regularity?

What kind of footage do you post?

What is your video production workflow like? Is editing tough? Is post-processing hard to learn?

I'm guessing it will be a compromise. Not enough focus on video and your music will catch on a lot slower. But too much emphasis on video and you're not actually focusing on music, which is what we all love. Thoughts?

Do you take down the works in progress once they are completed?

Do you include video footage? Or audio only?

Have you found that having a YouTube channel generates more followers for you?

Nah, I leave them up.. Shoot with iPad using camera connection kit for audio via soundcard (or mixer if a multi synth jam)
Not many followers at all (30 odd) but I've never pushed it... More for me to look back at a yardstick to my own progression if anything.

Thanks for sharing your experience, my friend.

Is anyone else posting videos? What kind, and what have the results been?
