Do most speakers take 1/4 inch cables

I'm playing some music at my school this weekend and I will be plugging my audio interface (Saffire Pro 24) into their speakers. I am just wondering if most standard speakers take 1/4 inch cables because that's what I use to plug into my monitors at home. I wouldn't want to get there and not be able to plug in haha

Can't you see the speakers beforehand or ask someone? Because the answer to your question is "many do, many don't". Then again, if there's a PA system, I'd reckon there would be some kind of a mixer as well (which most likely will take your 1/4"s just fine).
