Cannot link knobs in FL Studio to midi keyboard...

I have a Kontrol 49 and I use FL Studio. When I try and link the knobs in FL to my keyboard, FL never recognizes my keyboard. However, I am able to trigger things channels with my keyboard so I know it works. What the hell is wrong with this? Can someone help me out?

Shouldnt matter..AS long as he can trigger anything in Fl..it means his MIDI config is correct..well, correct enough to beable to control Knobs...

Just Right-click the knob you want to control..choose "Link To Controller", Twist a knob un the Keyboard...and thats it..couldnt be easier...

Try a patch script for the controller.
You can downbload these from usernet forums or MAudio's resource pages.

Actually, tell us what your computer config is and how you have everything set up and if FL is the only software running.

Ok you lost me. I don't know what a patch script is but I know I have the latest driver for my controller.

Sometimes I rewire FL with Reason, but I don't think that should matter. I am running Windows XP with a very up-to-date desktop computer. What else do you want to know? If it matters, I am able to use the knobs and controls on my midi keyboard with Reason.

click the kick, clap, hi-hat ect..you want....then go to its channel settings for that particular one

click on the ISN tab and right click on one of the knobs. there it should say link to controller

there u can pick the midi control settings..and it should work...

holla if it does or u have more questions
