few things id like to recommend:
take all tips with a grain of salt, dont use them as spoken truth but rather a guide to get you on the right path.
if youre not in the right frame of mind for music then take a break & come back when you are. forcing only makes you more frustrated.
with some daws (FL for example) people are well capable of making great songs without having a room full of expensive gear, having the gear just helps speed up workflow (but not with everyone).
we all have our good days and bad days, if you dont feel like making a beat then use the time to learn something else like chopping samples or catching up on some other things that have been on your mind lately.
when watching youtube videos of people making beats, it all looks so easy but remember only the good parts are kept so dont worry if it takes you longer to do the same thing.
if you find any useful tutorials online, either bookmark the sites for a rainy day or download/copy the info and store it away. who knows you might come back to it a few months down the line.
