Welcome to "Beat Making for Beginners." This series is meant share tips and tricks that I have learned from producing music for over 10 years.

In episode 1, I share a patch that I created in Reason to help me program my drums called "Redrum Extension." This video will show how the patch is constructed. Stay tuned for part 2 where I will give a demonstration of how I use it!

The patch is available to download at Kev The Sureshot Redrum Ext.cmb

Redrum Extension is a patch created for the Combinator in Propellerhead Reason (version 3-6.5)

@Scribeone - Yeah it really gives you more control over the overall mix

@PeaceBeats - No Problem, I figure it would help beginning producers learn about how to create patches
