Toronto is a sick city and its slept on a lot by the hip-hop heads in the states. Many don't remember that Main Source was New York as well as Toronto based. I'm proud to say that my city was apart of the legendary record "Live at the Barbeque" with Nas along with the countless other records that Main Source did afterwards.
I'm an 18 year old producer from Toronto and I've been messing around with production for about 2 years, a bit more serious for around 6 months, but still not completely there yet. Planning on using this summer and university to really start getting deep in this, producing and vocal recording.
My style generally revolves around hip-hop with heavy sampling, but I'm trying to learn some more theory other than the basic scales, arpeggio's, etc for some composition. I'm trying to bring a fresh new sound to the genre and not stay too much too the now or the past.
