    These are good tips. My best piece of advice would be to just do you. Most people say they listen to other music before they make beats to get inspired. I think that is a bad idea bc you end up getting locked into a box. I usually can make beats based solely on how I am feeling at the time. If I feel like hearing some brass, I go trap style. If I feel like being inspired, I make an inspirational beat. Plus, I'm a rapper so if I can vibe to it and freestyle to it, I know that it's going well. Do you! Don't try and be anyone else with your music except yourself....
