cheers man. i havnt been on these forums in years, so im gonna sound a little stupid here, but how do you embed the soundcloud wave onto the page instead of the link like i did?
my old laptop died recently along with all my samples, vsts and programs, which was a massive bummer of course, but at the same time its brought me back to straight up sampling which i havnt done in a while so 'every cloud has a silver lining ' and all that!

For my snares, its more of layering than EQ. If you play around with snap and clap samples over snare samples, obviously adjusting the levels to the preferred levels of the individual samples, then you should have a better sounding snare.
