I used reycle to chop it & made the beat in reason 4.
But the way i do it is chop it once, play with the sample in dr.rex and added reverb i got the "i try" but wanted to add "try" twice so i re choped it then added another 2 dr.rex to have 3 different velocity levels as you can change it in one dr.rex i used another dr.rex for the "ooohh hhaa" sample drop & another one with the same sample to give it a thicker sond.
Then i wanted a different reverb on the chorus so i added another dr.rex to do the chorus.
The drums i my own from my drum kits apart from the cymboyl and added dynamics, but i rewired each drum sound to its own channel in the mixer you get a clearer sound and can adjust the level better and add on bass! much better for mixing

Yes its true i didnt know when i posted it, i think it was because i was new to sampling and this was my second flip ever & it was different to how other people flipped this & i never heard the part were i sampled in a song before but yeah your right
