Sample and Flip

flip is pretty tight my man...the sample is dope too but it almost sounds pornographic pitched up like that lol. I like the drums but i feel like the kicks are a lil out of sync like the tiniest lil bit. I realize you were going for the swing type feel on em it just throws it off that little bit. My $.02. ill try and be back with a flip.

loving the loose and delayed kicks, they got this booming, stereo effect going...

and the hats are nice too, not to to harsh, but u can hear the hats from da sample comin thru

tight mellow flip, can hear a rapper on sum sex or love tip on this...even phonte about his life on this one...think back to sum of the verses he did with foreign exchange

did u 1
use the delay setting in the fl mixer (I assume u and every1 else on fruity)

use the offset setting in the final tab in the channel settings


also man u got balls for delayin them so much..cumz off as being nicely artistic..i was always too afraid it would be too much to do that

As for it sounding pornish...well, i agree lol

About the kicks, i do not use FL. Matter of fact the only thing i use is my MPC. I played the sample first. I used the timing correct to lay down the hit hat and shaker and then turned it off and just played the snare and kick how i felt it went with the sample. Hence why it sounds off a little bit every now and then.
 
Sick flip Srm. Has a lot more bop then mine. Really like the stereo effect you used with the left and right speakers. Is that other sample in the background from long red live?
 
Is the stereo effect youre talking about throughout the whole track? If it is thats an accident. Only meant it to be on those breakdown parts. Yeah thats the long red live sample....i threw it in last minute. Thanks for the feed.
 
that stereo effect is only for a bar or two. And yeah i thought it was that sample in the background. nice little add-in
