Flip this foreign sample (i killed it wit this 1)

i'm completely terrible at finding out the key of sampled to add basslines, what would you guys do in this case? just try to play along with the notes with another piano sound until you find out the basic notes then derive the key from that?

I always use the hip-hop bass 3 under the stock hiphop folder in fl. If you play around with the settings a little bit you can get some great sounding basslines.

Edit: I literally just installed FL 9 onto my computer (just got a new computer) and realized there is no hiphop folder in fl 9. Thats what I used in Fl 8. Don't know what I'm gonna use for basslines now.

On top of what Igorch and Mood said.....I usually throw this preset into 3xosc....it usually goes well with most of my tracks....try it, see what ya think.
