    WHAT is Djing

I've never really known what DJing is, all I know what a DJ does is he scratches (hip hop djs), mix (but i've never really known what this means, its the term MIX the same as in producing MIX?), how do DJs make remixes? with DAWs/softwares? What does a DJ do really? Except for scratching and changing songs smoothly.

DJ's play music. They select tracks and blend them together, that's mixing for DJ's. Of course, there's more to making a mix than just changing songs: Good mixes are well constructed and not just some random tracks. And of course, a good live DJ can read the crowd and play music based on that. For examples of a DJ mix, go to http://mixcloud.com. Some DJ's scratch, juggle and all that but turntablists are a minority amongst DJ's.

Remixing is more music production than deejaying.

A DJ plays music for the people.
Always looking if the crowd is happy and if not.. he plays other music.

I know that DJs play music ;D, but if it would be so easy as ''playing music'' everyone in this world could be a DJ.

its way much more then just playing music. you also have many different types of DJ's like the club DJ
well versed in mixing music to motivate the club goers to dance and drink. Club DJs have historically been on the leading edge innovation when it come to leveraging the equipment they have for the best new sounds and memorable effects. They incorporate
beat matching and juggling, effects processing, sampling and sequencing, scratching etc.

Turntablist performs by touching and moving the records, stylus and mixer to manipulate sound produces sounds which are unique and not reproduced—the record player becomes a musical instrument. good club DJ's can also incorporate turntablism.

    Mobile DJ's
provide musical entertainment at weddings, parties and other social events.

Remixing is definitely an art perfected by DJ's today a lot of remixes are done via DAWs but a good DJ can remix on the fly live with DJ equipment,

that's not a DJ anyone can do that. reading the crowd and playing what they want is way different from playing the wrong music then changing it.

no very different they do incorporate some of the same skills but a mobile DJ doing weddings and private parties many times has a very strict playlist to follow often times a mobile DJ will interview the customer to get an idea of the music they want. Also you play a lot of that corny line dancing stuff in order to make the event memorable.

to get started I would highly recommend something like dubspot Dubspot DJ School | Learn How to DJ - Classes Online or NYC | Dubspot if you can afford it its very valuable.

I highly recommend watching as many YouTube videos as you possibly can. Search up "dj gig logs", "The Do-Over", and pretty much anything with the word "dj". Youtube is the best tool you can use for free, trust me.

And of course nothing beats actually working events hands on and watching people perform live.
