turntable question

Yo, i already do some production work and sampling in programs manually, but i was thinking about buying a tuntable soon working with samples through that. my question is, what's a good/semi-cheap brand that would run through usb? something i could maybe just loop samples with? and would a usb table be detected as a midi in programs like mixcraft?

Ive got a usb turntable and it gets detected as MIDI in Ableton. It's a sony PS-LX300USB, if you're interested. I think it was like $100 or something. Not the greatest but it gets the job done.
