Stanton SMX-501 real feedback please

there seem to be a few stanton haters out here.

but has anyone had any real experience with the smx-501 mixer?

has the quality gotten better ( it does have all P&G faders)

the features on this thing are great about the only other mixer that has the same features is the ecler pro40.
 
doesnt anyone have or tried this mixer?

id like feedback except from the one guy who simply says anything stanton is crap- and pretty much assumes that it will always be crap.
 
there are some reviews on the stantonmagnetics.forum - I was quite shocked, how many things they had to complain about, read for yourself, maybe this was the first series
 
i searched those forums. really nothing much was said about that mixer- unless those posts are long gone.
