After I record My set I want to insert track breaks without interupting the music flow. I can't figure out how to do this. Maybe I don't have the right software (sound forge 7). Can someone please help me I have spent days&nights trying to figure this out & I may be going mad!!

When I first started recording sets to my pc I was using polderbits sound recorder. The sound quality wasn't great but the editor it came with allowed you to insert multiple track points without adding a silent spot in the flow. You Figure this can be done on better programs like sound forge but I can't figure out how...I have a headache!! Go Canada Go!!

Hmmm not sure what you guys mean? do you mean that you want to put a tanother track between the tracks you have arranged ? you could do this with a Multitracker like Ablton Live or Acid, are all the tracks nearly the same tempo?

No Imean I want to be able to split it up like the first record i play would be track one on the cd, the second record would be track 2 and so on. just so that i can scan through all the tracks on the mix instead of the whole mix being track 1. now you get what i mean. I would really appreciate the help thanks

I've done it using Adobe Audition 1.5. Exactly how madbeats says using cue points
and making each track a range. After you seperate each track you just import into a cd project and make sure you take off the 2 second pause between tracks. The final product is a mix cd that you can skip to whatever track you want or just a solid mix between tracks without pauses. Make sure you use Adobe Audition 1.5 cause it comes with the cd burning software. Peace!
