    Some cuttin

My friend brought over an old 4-track, and we tested it out with a little freestyle. This is me scratching some "ahhh" over a loop. Is it just me, or does this seem a little repeditive? For some reason I haven't been feeling my cuts lately. But maybe I'm just my biggest critic. If you don't remember me from about a year ago, I've been scratching for about a year and 7 months now. Any comments or criticisms are appreciated.

It is repetitive, but I like the idea .. did you play a beat and scratch over it?

Wow quick response. Yeah, I haven't used the potential of the four track yet, this was just one track. I played a beat and then freestyled over it, but I'm going to use this to record a mixtape pretty soon, cuz I hate my computer.

Anyone have any comments or criticisms on my cuts, though? I'm in one of those ruts where I can't seem to think of anything new. I know it'll go away in another couple weeks as usual, but any adivse on what I need to tighten up, or what scratches I still need to work on a bit?

In not sure about the cuts, but if you had a better beat it would make a BIG difference ... Try doing it over In Da Club .. see what it sounds like.

Uhh... are you being serious, or is that a joke? Personally, I think anything will sound bad over in da club, just because it's in da club. I'm more into hip-hop, not g-unit bullsh**. I'd like comments from people who know how to scratch, and can comment specifically on the scratching. Not people who are concerned about g-unot. Are there any heads still left in this forum?

What kind of suggestion is that. I like the beat, I like hearing something other than slow dirty electro beats. Your cuts do get a little repetitive, but you have some skills.

cuts were nice.. but letting the ahhh sample play in the same spots got repetitive. Sounded good though, just change up the patterns.
