i was in a store tha other day, and this kid purchased some Gemini XL-100'z. some peepz tried 2 warn him, but he got 'em anyway because of the price. who agrees that selling the xl-100 & xl-400, maybe even the xl-500II and convincing people that u can scratch and mix well on them should be ILLEGAL. thatz just wrong how people get the impression that you can actually perforn well on these tablez. i was tempted 2 buy them a while back because i had the money. luckily some people on the site advised me well. it takez a hell of a dj 2 make these perform well. all these are good for is barely playing grandma'z old records. im sure some else agrees:

SELLING THESE TABLEZ SHOULD BE ILLEGAL!

    -simple as that

That clunks just amusing, it has a little squeak at the same time. Sounds like you got a little mouse in your TT!!

I never have understood why they put a solenoid brake in. It doesn't make sense!

    I dunno

My friend got a all in one package that came with gemini xl-50's that did not even had pitch. I was matching beats by maualy turning the record with my finger. I could transform and chirp a little but it skips really easy. But it was fun and certainly doable
