It's official - DMC's are rigged!

Well I'm sure you all know by now that the new DMC world champion is Plus One. What you may not know is that it's now screamingly obvious that the battle was rigged right from the start - the projector operator fu-cked up and put up the slide saying "Plus One - World DMC Champion" too early, before the judging had even STARTED!

What a fu-cking joke.

to tell you the truth i felt the same thing when i went to the UK finals, Plus One was getting his arse licked and there were other Dj's that were better.
I can't believe DMC's went out like that?????

WTF? Where did you see this........ i can't beleive it, i thought only wack sh;t like Millie Vanillie was rigged, now it's come to this!!!! Well I'm for sure gonna pull out of the 2002 dmc's.......That's just dumbin!!!!

Is it possible that they make a slide for everyone so that they have it ready? It is kinda ironic that the one the slipped up with was the actual winner.

Might be time to boycott...

I heard this from a couple guys who made the trip over from Ireland to check out the show... apparently it was pretty obvious and one of them even heard the projector dude say 'oh fu(k!' when it happened but of course by then it was too late.

I'm pretty sure that they would make a slide that says that for each contestant. Then use the correct one when its over. Just like when sports teams win major sports events. They design a tshirt/hat/whatever for each team, then only make the correct one.

Right... but the idea is to hold off revealing 'the correct one' until the judging has been done.

This should be obvious to even the most inexperienced projector operator. Unfortunately, Tony Prince had no more money left for quality projection after spending all his cash on pcp-laced E's and 40's of Smirnoff Ice.

this is what i got from "Sally" at the DMC's in the UK

"Excuse me! DMC does not rig their competition! The explanation for this is
our production company ( who film the event, and do the screens, peoples
names) were told after the judges results were added up! The have to prepare
the name on screen with the DMC World Champion written on, for when it is
announced! This was a genuine mistake. Which forum is this from then? "
